Clare & Chris are seriously one of the cutest couples I have ever met. Clare is a super petite Irish beauty and a soft spoken elementary school teacher. Chris is a super tall and funny member of the heroes in blue, the NYPD.  They came to me after being unhappy with their initial choice of photographer, so the pressure was seriously ON! We had a lovely engagement session at an Upstate NY Winery (Brotherhood) only about a month before the actual wedding! They were so fabulous there, but I have to admit, I was a little nervous they wouldn’t like me (but really, who wouldn’t love little ol’ me?)! Since I never blogged their session, here are a few images from their gorgeous and blisteringly hot engagement session before I dive into their amazing wedding!

It was when I saw that last picture that I knew there was something a little fiery in Clare. I was so excited to see them again for the wedding! The day was rough! It was thundering while Clare and Chris were getting ready (although I was doing my best to convince her that it was furniture being moved, I don’t think she bought it). Nevertheless, Clare was stunning in her gown.

My ever amazing assistant, Chaz, was with Chris a few floors up documenting the amusing iPhone tutorial on bowtie tying. Apparently it worked, because Chris looked mighty dapper when I saw him!

Chris & Clare opted for a romantic First Look at the absolutely incredible Wave Hill. This was my first trip to this garden oasis and I must admit, I was floored. The grounds are breathtaking and teh staff was so accommodating. I think they felt a little bad for us though, as right when Clare pulled up for the big reveal, it started to downpour! But that didn’t stop this First Look from being one of the best ever!

The sun came out after a few minutes though and we had a beautiful rest of the bridal portrait session before heading to the church!

During the Church service, the storms rolled back in with a vengeance and spoiled Clare & Chris’ bubble exit, but the bagpipers managed to still play under the trees!

The party headed over to Rory Dolan’s for an amazing Irish Reception. Complete with a kickin’ band, tons of Irish folk songs, dancing, and MORE bagpipes!

I managed to sneak outside with the two lovebirds at sunset to catch some pretty amazing light. Clare & Chris, I am so honored and happy that you trusted me with your wedding. You two are such lovely people and I am glad I got to know you and spend time with you!
